With the many technological advancements the world has these days it is much easier on businesses to communicate with not only other businesses, but also with their customers. The same applies to your network marketing. With email marketing, you can let your network marketing leads know about your products and services. You can also send out newsletters to your network marketing leads to keep them up-to-date on the latest info about what is happening with you and your business.  Email is now considered a very handy marketing tool, if used correctly.

Building a list of network marketing leads is the key in how to be successful in network marketing.  But remember, it is not how many names you have on that list, it’s how you use it that matters.  You could have a list with 10,000 potential customers on it, but if you end up spamming them with constant emails every day, that number will shrink very quickly.  A huge list of network marketing leads also doesn’t do much good if you only contact people with information once a year.  You have to find the right balance of keeping your potential customers informed of what is going on and what new products or services you are offering, but you don’t want to become too intrusive either.

Once you start building your list and it continues to grow, dealing with many network marketing leads could become tedious if you are writing out each response email one by one.  That is where auto responders come in.  These are simply programs that allow you to write out a general response and that message will get sent back to anyone who emails you.  The message can relatively quick and brief or it can be a longer, more complex message.  Some network marketers use them to respond quickly to any emails they get, so that the customer doesn’t feel ignored while the marketer reads and responds to each individual email.

So how do you maintain a relationship with your prospect list once you’ve built it?

For starters, you can change your approach from being about your business and what you do to asking about the customer’s needs are.  In addition to keeping in touch regularly, it is also important to make sure you come across as an expert at being able to find a solution to meet the customer’s needs.
