There are plenty of network marketing opportunities out there to choose from and many network marketing business owners find that building a downline has become increasingly difficult because of all of the competition. This is most likely because most network marketing business owners think that their business will succeed with only a website, an opt-in page to generate leads.
This is usually because some network marketers who no little about the industry especially in regards to marketing promote it as a “get rich while doing nothing” businesses. Nothing could be further from the truth. If you want to be able to build your network marking business which means building your downline, you need to build your own online identity and internet presence.
When someone joins a network marking opportunity they usually want to find out who their upline is and if they are active leaders within the team they are joining. Network marketing is a business and if you join you will want to make a success out of it. A network marketing prospect is more likely to sign up as a business owner than sign up under someone’s referral…unless that referral has an identity that is trustworthy.
There are many methods you can use to build your online identity. Here are a few to start with.
1. Start a blog. Sure everybody seems to have a blog these days, but blogs are a fantastic way to show your network marking prospects who you are. They are also a fantastic way to keep your prospect informed about what is going on in your business and the network marking industry.
